Food. People. Love.

Food.
We are smack in the middle of as big a food renaissance as most of us may see in our lifetime. And we are ever more eager to both discover previously foreign cultures or new culinary visions, and as well to get back to the food roots of our collective heritages.
KAC FOOD intends to dutifully represent and showcase as many of these food variations.
PHOTOS.
Sure, everyone's got a camera on their mobile device, and everyone seems to know fully how to blanket their social media with pictures of, seemingly, their every meal.
KAC FOOD—formerly PHUDE (NYC), one of the city's first popular food blogs—has always prided and distinguished itself with the high quality of its beautifully appetizing photos of meals and dishes, being recognized and featured by dozens of other food sites (Eater, Midtown Eats, Zomato, Immaculate Infatuation), and as well being hired by other NYC restaurants to take photos of their own menu items (Luke's Lobster, Cascabel Taqueria, Spaha Soul, Taco Mix, Harlem Shake, Balon Wine Bar & Bistro).

People.
What social media often misses are the folks who have worked long and hard to put those dishes onto tables, whether its a cook who wants to carry generations-long food traditions on and into a new relevancy, or a chef who wants to ply years of arduous culinary education, apprenticeship, and trade into making memorable dining experiences for food-lovers of all types.
KAC FOOD seeks to celebrate those individuals, groups, friends, families who share their great love, knowledge, expertise, and respect of food with the ever grateful rest of us.
Love.
Cooking and eating are two of the very first ways almost all of us experience showing, giving, and receiving love. It is usually not just our physiological sustenance, but our spiritual one as well. So many of our fondest memories are about food, sitting around the family dinner table, enjoying a chili dog at the game, the sweets we were rewarded for our (hopefully) good behavior, or our first experience trying some deliciously new for the very first time.
Even just the smell of just-baked chocolate chip cookies or just-cooked bacon can turn our figurative frowns upside down. It is because of that lifelong connection to love that we go to food as our "happy place".
KAC FOOD itself is born of the love of food—the love of eating it, making it, talking about it, sharing it, experiencing it, and enjoying it. Not just for myself, but for and with the food community at large, and the very people who it all means the most to.
