JUST SOME MORE PHOTOS OF dishes from the upcoming, updated menu at Dorrian's Red Hand, officially going into effect this coming Friday.

Yes, I have a lot of creative input into the new menu (as well as creating the design and layout of it), but what makes me more excited is our new chef. The food at Dorrian's has always been great, as well as popular to the regular customers who, although in the minority, know us more as a restaurant and less as a bar. But we now have a new chef, who is putting his on take on items we already had, such as fried calamari and chili, and coming up with some new grub, such as a fried pickle spears appetizer (served with chipotle mayo!) and the teriyaki-glazed pan-seared salmon I recently posted about.

Many regulars are excited as well about our fish & chips dinner; we're using fresh cod and a lightly seasoned Guinness Stout Ale batter to deep fry them in!
